About Maz

I'm Maz the resident hair braider/mad-hatter at the Extravaganza.
At the Madaz hats & hair stall you'll find hair braids and wraps, beard braids & wraps, hats and hair accessories.
Living on the road was a millenium resolution that I just keep renewing every new year.
I love the freedom this life offers me and I feel so incredibly lucky to spend so much time in the amazing outdoors that Aotearoa provides as our 'play' ground.

'Chez (shay) Maz' is my home and before that I had 'Wild Thyme' for 15yrs.

Mini & Bojangles travel with me everywhere I go. Im Deaf and they are my ears, alerting me to things going on around my truck that I don't hear. Mini is teaching Bo how to help me. They're great company & love the outdoors as much as I do. There's always a beach, a lake or bush where they can be free and explore.

There are many things I love about living life on the road and travelling with the Extravaganza but the best thing is the people I meet and the connections I make as we travel around the country.
